The Cocheco Arts Festival presents Encanto for their FREE Family Movie Night – 8 PM.

Deep in the Colombian mountains, the Madrigal family possesses an extraordinary secret. Each member of the family is able to perform magic. Yet at the heart of the family is 15-year-old Mirabel, who does not seem to possess any unusual abilities. Faced with this harsh reality, Mirabel struggles to reconcile her place within her family while searching for who she truly is.

Great Bay Sailor has an extensive repertoire of maritime, Irish/Scottish, British Musical Hall and traditional American songs and tunes. Bruce MacIntyre on guitar, whistle and bodhran, Steve Carrigan on bodhran and vocals, Mike Blair on vocals, and Jim Prendergast on guitar, mandolin, and mandola.

The Chickenshack Bluegrass Band is a dynamic bluegrass band with influences from traditional bluegrass, classic rock, country and beyond. With five lead singers and high-octane harmonies, each song is entertaining and different from the song before it. Chickenshack has enjoyed performing at music festivals and fairs around New England, including The Joe Val Bluegrass Festival (Framingham, MA), Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival (Brunswick, ME), The Topsfield Fair (Topsfield, MA), and Market Square Day (Portsmouth, NH).

Liz and Dan Faiella bring to life the traditional music of their roots, with crisp vocals, mesmerizing fingerstyle guitar, lyrical fiddling, and exhilarating rhythmic drive. Their music calls to mind the convivial grange hall’s contradances of their New Hampshire youth while conveying a wistfulness for their ancestral Ireland. Liz and Dan have taken the main stage at premier folk venues throughout New England, including Club Passim, the Acadia Trad Festival, Maine Celtic Celebration, Little Sea Folk Festival, the Seacoast Irish Festival, and the Boston Celtic Music Festival.
